I have a question relating to the Students' Union, who should I contact?
If you have a question relating to the Students' Union, we'd recommend you contact them directly. native will try and advise if possible but if you question does not relate to an event, your ticket or is non-technical, they might not be able to answer.
Who Can Attend?
All ticket holders must have a native account.
Freshers events are for first year students and their guests only - all ticket holders must be a valid student ID or be a guest of a student with a valid ID.
Can I bring a guest?
Yes – Students are able to purchase an additional guest ticket for a non-UoN Student or an external guest.
If you have an accessibility requirement, please contact us on suwelcomehub@uonsu.com to discuss an additional ticket for a carer.
If you require a wheelchair accessible taxi to get to Club nights, and/or a free ticket for a carer please contact Caroline.Robertson@nottingham.ac.uk who can arrange this for you.
How/When can I buy a Ticket?
All ticket holders must have a Native account.
Tickets are restricted to 2 per transaction for all ticket types.
Available tickets will state their sale date, with some tickets available as early as July 16th.
What is Native?
Native is an event discovery platform that helps students discover events. In these crazy times we've partnered with your student union to provide an events platform which incorporates a virtual events solution for you to enjoy virtual experiences.
Will there be pyrotechnics, lighting effects and amplified sound?
Yes, there may be pyrotechnics, strobe lighting and loud amplified music at various events.
How do I make a Native account?
Click Log in / Sign up in the top right.
Choose “Continue with email” to sign up using a personal email.
Fill in details and click Register.
If you don’t have my student email yet - what should I do?
You can start with “Continue with email”, creating a guest account with a personal address.
Once your student email is ready:
Log in again, and from your account page, link or migrate to your university email account
How do I Transfer a Ticket and what is the Deadline?
Tickets can only be transfered between Native accounts, both parties must have a Native account BEFORE transfering the ticket.
To transfer your ticket please follow the steps below:
1. Log in to your Native account in which you bought the ticket,
2. Go to 'Your Account' > 'Bookings',
3. Click on the ticket you wish to transfer and click 'Transfer Ticket'.
4. Input the Email to whom you are transferring the ticket to.
5. They will receive an email saying that the ticket has been sent and can be seen if they click ‘My Bookings’.
If the person you are sending the ticket to does not have a Native account, they will need to undertake the following steps BEFORE transfering the ticket:
- Check their email inbox that you sent the ticket to. There should be a message saying:
‘Hi there, ‘YOUR NAME’ has send you 1 ticket for (TICKET TYPE). You’ll need to create an account and then you’ll officially have your tickets.’
- Click the ‘Claim my Ticket’ link in the email. They should then create a Native account and follow the prompts.
- Once they sign up, the ticket above will be waiting for them in their Native account.
Transfer deadlines will normally be 24hrs before the start of the event.
Are refunds available?
Refunds are not available as standard. For extenuating circumstances please apply for a refund through your Native account and the team will assess your circumstances and approve or decline your request.
Refunds are not available for sold out events.

What is the protocol for lost property?
All lost property handed to SU event staff will be taken to University Park Welcome Zone Reception. Please contact the main reception number on 0115 846 8800 to check if your property has been handed in.
